Vanessa K. Fletcher

Vanessa Kay Fletcher-Reece, 68, departed this life on August 26, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Vanessa Kay was born on December 25, 1955, to her father, Alver Jerome Fletcher, and mother, Shelby Jean Turner.

Vanessa was survived by three sisters: Sherri Fletcher of Southhaven, MS, Rebecca (Jon) Fletcher-Moss of Brookland, AR, and Lisa Fletcher of Brookland, AR; one brother, Steve (Ann) Holt of Jonesboro, AR; and many nieces and nephews: Shawn Fletcher, Jeffrey Moss, Joshua Moss, Shelby Smith, and Bridgett Holt-Hazelwood. 

Vanessa was preceeded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Steven Fletcher. 

Vanessa was of the Baptist belief and worked at Nestle as a line employee. She loved art and sports and lived in Brookland and Jonesboro for over 27 years, formerly of Long Beach, CA. 

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Stan Ballard officiating.

Pallbearers are Shawn Fletcher, Jeff Moss, Josh Moss, Austin Fletcher, Jonathan Moss, and Brennan Smith.
