Sean Still, 53, of rural Marmaduke, passed from this life on Monday, December 26, 2023, at his home of natural causes.
Sean was born in Greenville, Mississippi, and lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, before moving to Jonesboro with his family in 1975. He was a member of the Class of 1988 at Nettleton High School and a graduate of Black River Technical College.
Sean worked many years at Ringier/World Color in Jonesboro and several years for American Rail, Inc. before becoming self-employed. He enjoyed wood working, welding and metal fabrication. Sean enjoyed playing the guitar and piano, fishing, and operating his saw mill and crafting wood slabs into works of art that he sold or gifted to friends.
Sean was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed the companionship of his German Shepherd, Zeus.
Survivors include his parents: Joe B. and Carlene Brewer of Jonesboro; his father, Quentin Still and wife Carolyn Still of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; 2 sons: Caleb George and wife Courtney of Jonesboro and Michael Still of Clermont, Florida; 2 brothers: Wayne Still of Batesville and Jason Brewer and wife Mandy of Cave City; 2 sisters and their husbands: Jenny and Jason Long of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Page and Tim Walker of Springboro, Ohio; and 1 granddaughter, Kynlee George.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jimmy Young officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from 10-11 in the chapel.
