Nancy F. White

Nancy F. White, 81, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1942 in Trumann to the late Jim and Opal Payne Blasingame. Nancy was a homemaker most of her life enjoying cooking and taking care of her family. She was a member of Central Community Church in Harrisburg for 70 years. Nancy enjoyed teaching Sunday School and canning. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Bud Blasingame, J.M. Blasingame, John Oliver Blasingame, Vernon Blasingame, Paul Blasingame Sr., Calvin Blasingame and 3 sisters: Wanda Glowacz, Katherine McMullin and Dianna Osment. 

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Carl Ray White of the home; son, Darrell (Sandra) White of Jonesboro; daughter, Carla (Reggie) Smith of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Keith (Sheila) Blasingame, David (Margaret) Blasingame both of Trumann; 3 sisters: Patsy Davis, Marlene (Floyd) Hancock, Charlotte Baxter all of Trumann; 7 grandchildren: Tyler (Courtney) Watkins, Brandon (Hannah) White, Daniel Watkins, Will White all 4 of Jonesboro, Jeremy (Madeline) Luff of Harrisburg, Allison Mills of Jonesboro, Matt (Sybil) Smith of Kansas City and 8 great grandchildren: Maddox Watkins, Reed Watkins, Harrison Watkins, Allie White, Maddison Mills all 5 of Jonesboro, Josie Luff of Harrisburg, Hadliegh Mills of Jonesboro and Jasper Luff of Harrisburg. 

Funeral service will be Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Allen Elkins officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park with active pallbearers being Brian Dudley, Jan Morgan, Jamie Lyons, Joe Kincaid, Paul Blasingame Jr. and Jeremy Luff. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Heckman, Tommy Holmes, Terry Osment, Roy Guthrie and Shane Blasingame.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
