Mary E. Pulley

Mary Ellen Pulley, 90, of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 24, 2024, at her home. She was born near Lake City on July 2, 1933, to Norman and Maggie Tiner. She lived most of her life in the Lake City and Jonesboro area. She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to cook and excelled at making fried pies. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was always a pleasure. Working in her yard and sewing as long as she was able gave her pleasure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Pulley; one sister and one brother.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Wakefield; Linda Stadler and husband Louie all of Jonesboro; Shanna Wooldridge of Columbia, Missouri; sister, Norma Bowman and husband Larry of Jonesboro; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, June 28, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Chad Graves officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
