Mary L. Davis

Mary Louise Davis, 83, passed away on September 28, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born on August 18, 1941, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Raymond and Haley Barrett.

Mary grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ faith. She found joy in playing the piano, practicing photography, solving puzzles, and cherishing the time she spent with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by her devoted husband of over 23 years, Philip Davis, of Crestview Hills, Kentucky; her daughters, Lori Turner of Jonesboro and Kathy Chenault (Steve) of Little Rock; her brother, David Barrett of Brownsville, Texas; her sisters, Raymonda Watkins of Dallas, Texas, and Doris Jean Barrett of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Natalie Epperson (Brandon) of Jonesboro, Rachel Chenault (Finley Clayton) of North Little Rock, Pete Chenault of Little Rock, and Wilson Chenault of Little Rock; and her great grandchild, Elinor Clayton.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 12-1pm at Emerson Funeral Home. The service will immediately follow the visitation at 1pm with Aaron Dodson officiating the service. Interment will follow the service at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
