Ida Mae Gray, 90, of Jonesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2024. She was surrounded by her family at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House when she was called home. She was born in Imboden on June 28, 1933, to Elson and Mollie Stokes. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1954. She was an avid reader, mostly Christian books. Other hobbies included travelling, her dogs, and anything to do with Razorbacks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Gray Sr., two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her sons, James S. Gray Jr. and David Gray, both of Jonesboro; Todd Gray of Little Rock; daughter, Janie Yielding and husband Butch of Jonesboro; one grandson, Josh Yielding and wife Chaun; and a fur baby named Walter, but affectionately known as Little Bit.
