Glenn Melvin Riley, 77, of Jonesboro, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at St. Bernards Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1947, in Trumann to Otto and Irene (Baker) Riley. Glenn proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war era, and in later years worked as a printer and a supervisor. Of the Christian faith, he enjoyed running, bicycling, and coaching little league baseball.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Charles Riley, Dean Riley, and Dale Riley.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nina Riley; son Marty Riley (Laura); daughter Tina Carter (Ben); grandchildren Reese Riley, Emma Kate Riley, Riley Carter, Jed Carter, Clay Carter, and Alex Carter; and many friends and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 2:30pm at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Todd Rouse officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-2pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home 1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Glenn's name to The Blossoms at Newport Rehab and Nursing Center 326 Lindley Lane Newport, AR 72112.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
