Evonda Sue House, age 81, of Jonesboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on September 3, 1943, in Jonesboro to the late Carson and Neosha Hickman, Evonda spent her entire life in Jonesboro, a community she loved. Later in life, she served as a lunch lady at Westside High School, bringing warmth and kindness to students and staff alike. Above all, Evonda cherished time spent with her grandsons and great-grandsons, creating countless memories with them.
