Emma Delois “Dee” Lowery Case of Trumann departed this life Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 4 days. She was born June 2, 1939, in the Promised Land area near Trumann. Dee and her husband lived in Indiana and Pennsylvania before moving back to Trumann in 1994. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Trumann. She loved her new home at the Bungalows. She loved playing bingo, reading Grace Livingston Hill books, and hearing about her children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s lives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Finis Case; her parents, H.A. “Bill" and Ruth Emma (May) Lowery; and son-in-law, Mark Lawson.
She is survived by three daughters: Kimberly (William) Ludington of Fredericksburg, VA, Teresa Lawson of Porter, IN, and Sonya Kilman of Brookland, AR; one son, Randy (Karla) Case of Wichita, KS; two sisters, Marie Penter and Helen “Cricket” Ballard both of Trumann; a brother, Jerry Wayne Lowery of Trumann; 12 grandchildren, William “BJ” Ludington, Becky Schiller, Jessica Lawson, Christina Bieger, Emma Lawson, Jake Lawson, KyAnn Molina, Kenna Agpoon, Raydn Case, Kessa Case, Keagan Kilman and Reagan Kilman; 10 great-grandchildren, Lillie Baxter, Andrew Bieger, Nathan Bieger, Adelynn Lawson, Ellie Lawson, Kamdynn Molina, Knox Molina, Fallon Agpoon, Elleri Agpoon and Paisyn Molina.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Pallbearers will be Jake Lawson, William “BJ” Ludington, Keagan Kilman, Raydn Case, Bill Ludington and Justin Bieger.
