Donald Ray Branham, of Jonesboro, passed away on August 12, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center at the age of 75. He was born June 9, 1949, to the late Ray and Lavonda Branham. In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jerry Treadaway, and his sister-in-law, Movita Halfacre.
Donald was born and raised in Jonesboro. He was a member of the Air Force and served in Vietnam. Before his deployment, Donald met the love of his life, Mary. They built a wonderful life together over the years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Some of his family's favorite memories were trips to the lake. Donald and Mary cleared a space at the lake and made it their own. His friendly and caring nature was evident to all who knew him. Donald never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. Incredibly nice, he would give you the shirt off his back. Donald was an amazing person and provider for his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Branham; daughter, Christy White of Jonesboro; sisters, Sandra Waller (Howard) of Marion and Shelia Simpkins (Mike) of Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Jonathan White of Brookland, Luke White of Jonesboro, and Hannah White of Jonesboro.
