Betty J. Webb

Betty Jane Morrison Webb, 98, of Jonesboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Bernards. She was born on February 20, 1926, in Hergett, Arkansas, to the late Frank and Mary Morrison. Betty spent her entire life in the Jonesboro area. A devoted and long-time member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, Betty was known for her nurturing spirit as a cook and provider. A true daddy's girl, she held a deep love for her father and cherished her family above all. Betty was a kind and giving person, dedicated to her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Webb; daughter, Connie Webb; granddaughter, Ashley Webb; and twelve brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Tommy (Betty) Webb of Mountain Home, AR, and Ron (Debbie) Webb of Lake View, AR; five grandchildren, Lauren Webb, Tiffany Tull, Shannon Webb, Todd West, and Kelly Avants; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Emerson Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Betty's memory.
